Websites and digital products, designed and built to match the brand.

Design and development of websites and digital products, with scope agreed for each project.

A website is where many people meet a brand first. We design and build marketing websites, landing pages and digital products so they look and behave like the rest of your brand, one identity from the logo to the last screen.

Design and build are offered together, with scope agreed for each project. Design decides how the site looks and how people move through it. Development turns that design into something that works. Doing both in one team means the finished site matches the design. See our web work in Lifeloop.

What's included in website and digital product design

  • Marketing websites
  • Landing pages
  • Information architecture and page structure
  • UI and UX design for desktop and mobile
  • Design systems: components, colour and type
  • Digital product design
  • Build and handover as scoped

Platforms, hosting and timelines are agreed per project.

Who website design and development suits

  • Businesses that have a brand identity and need a website that matches it
  • Startups that need a landing page or a first product designed and built by one team
  • Teams whose website no longer reflects the brand or is hard to update
  • Founders who want design and build handled together

Signs your website needs a redesign

  • Your site does not look like your brochures, packaging or social pages
  • Visitors cannot quickly see what you do or how to contact you
  • The site is hard to use on a phone
  • Design and development were done by different suppliers and nobody owns the whole result
  • You are adding pages or products and the design starts to fall apart

How a website project runs, and what each stage produces

    Produces

    • A working site or product built from the approved design
    • Checks across the devices and browsers agreed in scope
  4. 04

    Hand over

    Launch support and documentation.

    Produces

    • Launch support, as scoped
    • Documentation so your team can update content

The full process

Files and ownership: what you receive

  • The designed pages and components as design files
  • The built site or product, delivered as agreed in scope
  • Documentation for updating content and using the design system
  • Accounts and access handed over as set out in the proposal

Platforms, hosting and domains are agreed per project, and so is who holds each account. Rights in the approved design and the built work are set out in the proposal.

What affects the scope and cost of a website

A five-page marketing site and a custom digital product are very different projects. Each proposal states the pages, functions and handover included.

  • The number of pages and templates
  • Functionality: forms, integrations, accounts or product features
  • Content: whether copy, photography and illustration are supplied or need creating
  • Platform and hosting choices
  • How many people review each stage

Website design and development: frequently asked questions

Do you design and build websites?
Yes. Websites and digital products are offered as design plus build, with scope agreed for each project. You can also bring us in for the design alone if you already have a developer.
What is the difference between web design and web development?
Design decides how a site looks and how people move through it: layout, structure, colour, type and the interface. Development turns that design into a working site: the code, the features and the content that make it function. We offer both, so the finished site matches the design.
What is the difference between UI and UX design?
UX design is about how a product works for the people using it: the structure, the flows and the steps to complete a task. UI design is about how it looks: layout, colour, type, buttons and other interface elements. Good products need both.
What platforms do you build on?
Platforms are agreed per project, based on what the site needs and what your team can maintain after launch.
Will the website match my brand identity?
That is the aim. We design from your identity, so the colours, type and layouts match your logo, brochures and packaging. If you do not have an identity yet, we can start with brand identity design and design the site from it.
Can you work from an existing brand?
Yes. We can design from the identity you have, or build the identity first and design the site from it.
How long does a website project take?
Mostly on the number of pages and templates, how much functionality is involved, and how quickly content arrives. A short marketing site and a multi-section product site are very different jobs, so the proposal gives the sequence before you commit.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the number of pages, the features, how much content has to be created and the platform. We do not publish fixed prices. Each proposal says what is included and what is not.
What happens after the site launches?
Launch support and what happens afterwards are agreed in the proposal. We hand over documentation so your team can update content.
