The brochures, decks and templates that put your identity to work.

Brochures, decks, stationery, signage and templates that apply the identity across everyday touchpoints.

Collateral is where an identity either holds together or falls apart. We design the pieces a business actually sends, prints and presents: brochures, decks, stationery, signage and templates. Each one is built on your identity, so a customer sees one brand, not five.

Where it makes sense we build the work as templates, so your team can add a page, change a slide or make the next brochure without starting over. You get print-ready files for your printer, digital versions for screen and the editable files agreed in the scope.

What's included in brand collateral design

  • Brochures, flyers and one-pagers
  • Pitch and presentation decks: a master template or a complete deck
  • Stationery: letterhead, business cards and envelopes
  • Signage and event materials
  • Social and campaign templates
  • Print-ready and digital versions of each piece
  • Editable files agreed in scope

Printing, photography, copywriting and ongoing posting are not assumed. They are confirmed per project.

Who brand collateral design suits

  • Businesses with an identity that now needs applying to real pieces
  • Teams that rebuild the same decks and brochures from scratch each time
  • Founders preparing for meetings with investors, buyers or partners who need a credible set of materials
  • Businesses launching a product, service or location that needs a full set of materials at once

Signs your collateral needs a system

  • Each new brochure or deck looks slightly different from the last
  • Your team recreates the same slides or layouts every time
  • Printed pieces do not match your website or social profiles
  • A printer or freelancer keeps asking for sizes, bleed or file types
  • Stationery and signage were made at different times by different suppliers

How collateral design runs, and what each stage produces

  1. 01

    Audit

What you use today, and where it drifts.

    Produces

    • A list of the pieces you need and where they will be used
    • Notes on where current materials are inconsistent
  2. 02

    Systemise

Layouts and templates built on the identity.

    Produces

    • Page, slide and layout grids
    • Master templates for the formats you will reuse
  3. 03

    Produce

The agreed pieces, designed and checked.

    Produces

    • Designed brochures, decks, stationery or signage, as scoped
    • Proofs for review at each checkpoint
  4. 04

    Hand over

Print-ready and editable files with usage notes.

    Produces

    • Print-ready PDFs with correct bleed and trim
    • Editable templates where scoped
    • Short notes on how to update each piece

The full process

Files and ownership: what you receive

  • Print-ready PDFs with bleed and crop marks where your printer needs them
  • Digital versions of brochures and decks for screen, email and sharing
  • Editable template files in the formats agreed in scope
  • Social and campaign templates sized for the platforms you use
  • The fonts and colour values used in each piece

Printing, photography and copywriting are not assumed and are confirmed per project. Rights in the approved final designs are set out in the proposal, and editable files are provided where the scope includes them.

What affects the scope and cost of collateral design

Collateral projects range from one template to a full set of materials, so we scope each one separately and state what is included in the proposal.

  • How many pieces, and how many pages or slides each has
  • Whether you need a reusable template system or a single finished piece
  • Whether copywriting, photography or illustration are needed, which are scoped separately
  • Print specification and quantities, if you want help with print management
  • How many people review each piece

Brand collateral design: frequently asked questions

What is brand collateral?
Brand collateral is the set of pieces that carry your brand to other people: brochures, pitch decks, stationery, signage, social and campaign templates. It is the identity put to work. If you do not have an identity yet, start with brand identity design.
What is included in brand collateral design?
That depends on what you need. Typical pieces are brochures and one-pagers, pitch decks, stationery, signage and event materials, and social or campaign templates, each in print-ready and digital versions. The proposal lists the pieces, the number of pages or slides and the review rounds.
Can you design a pitch deck or a presentation template?
Yes, as either a master template your team can reuse or a complete deck for a specific presentation, depending on the scope. A template suits you if you will build decks regularly. A complete deck suits you if you have one important meeting.
Do you provide editable templates?
Editable template files are included where the scope says so, together with short notes on how to update each piece, so your team can keep the work consistent after handover.
What file formats do you deliver for print and digital?
Print-ready PDFs with correct bleed and trim for the printer, digital PDFs for screen and email, and editable files in the formats agreed in scope. The proposal states the formats for each piece.
Do you handle printing?
Printing is not assumed. It is confirmed per project. We prepare print-ready files so your printer can work from them without problems.
How long does brand collateral design take?
A single template takes less time than a full set, so the number of pieces and how many of them need editable templates matter most. Content supplied late is the usual cause of delay, and the proposal says what is needed and when.
What is the difference between brand collateral and brand identity?
The identity is the system: logo, colour, typography and rules. The collateral is where you apply it: the pieces people hold, read and see. Collateral built without an identity tends to drift. Read more in logo vs brand identity.
